As we continue to grow, we are looking for a hands-on Cloud Engineer to help develop, operate, and improve our cloud platform. The Role You will work directly with our engineering teams to build, maintain, and optimise Enteractive’s Microsoft Azure environment across production, staging, and development. This is a practical, hands-on position for someone who enjoys solving infrastructure challenges, automating repetitive work, improving reliability, and helping developers deploy software safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Build, configure, and maintain Azure infrastructure across production, staging, and development environments. Improve the scalability, availability, performance, and reliability of our cloud platform. Manage Azure services such as App Service, Virtual Machines, Storage Accounts, networking, and identity services. Support and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration. Maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and application visibility using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, and related tools. Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, deployment, and performance issues. Implement cloud security best practices, including RBAC, managed identities, Key Vault, network controls, and secrets management. Manage VNets, private endpoints, DNS, firewalls, and other Azure networking components. Identify opportunities to improve cloud costs, resource utilisation, and platform performance. Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and post-incident improvements. Keep the Azure environment up to date by adopting relevant platform improvements, security updates, and cloud best practices. Required Skills / Experience At least 3 years of hands-on experience working with Microsoft Azure in a cloud engineering, infrastructure, systems engineering, or DevOps role. Practical experience deploying, configuring, and supporting Azure resources. Good knowledge of core Azure services, including App Service, Virtual Machines, networking, storage, and identity. Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar) Experience with Infrastructure as Code (ARM Templates, Bicep or Terraform) A solid understanding of networking concepts such as VNets, subnets, private endpoints, DNS, firewalls, and routing. Experience with monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation. An understanding of cloud security principles, access control, secrets management, and secure networking. Experience supporting production systems and investigating technical incidents. A proactive and practical approach to problem-solving.
