Full-time substitute teacher

Kalajoki City is advertising a full-time substitute teaching position in basic education for Raumankarin Comprehensive School in Himanka for the period 23 November 2026 to 5 June 2027. Subject(s) taught will be home economics and health education. Weekly hours total 24. The position is located at Raumankarin Comprehensive School in the Himanka suburb. Kalajoki has four basic education units: district units Kalajoki centre and Himanka, and schools for grades 1–6 at Rautio and Tyngä. All schools operate in modern, well‑maintained facilities. We invest in developing teaching locally and in our networks. Kalajoki is known as a tourism destination and is close to commercial and industrial centers; we emphasise internationality. In our service there is a full-time International Coordinator and an international assistant teacher. Eligibility is defined by the Decree on the Eligibility of Educational Personnel No. 986/1998. Before the decision is confirmed, the selected candidate must present a police record extract and certificates proving qualifications as per Act No. 504/2002. Salary according to OVTES.
