Social Care Worker

Role: As a social care worker at Koivupuisto children’s home you will ensure a safe, home-like daily life for children and youths, supporting their individual growth and care. You will assist them in everyday situations, in schooling and leisure time, and participate in maintaining daily operations with the rest of the team. You will collaborate with the child’s family and other networks. The work is varied and you will be part of a professional, multidisciplinary team that values open cooperation, professionalism, humor, and joint work for the child’s best. Shifts are scheduled according to unit needs and your availability, and may include morning, evening, night, and weekend work. Prior experience in child protection or out-of-home care is a merit, but the key is a willingness to perform quality work focused on the child’s needs. A category B driving licence is a plus.
