We are seeking an enthusiastic, skilled early childhood education teacher for our work community. The position is a fixed-term appointment at Kylänpään day care from 21.09.2026 to 22.05.2027. The day care is a three-group facility in Rajamäki, and we are hiring for the under-3 age group. In addition to you, the group includes another early childhood education teacher and a child care worker. At Kylänpään, you have the opportunity to influence your work, develop our activities together with the team, and make your expertise visible in our daily routines. We offer a competent, motivated staff and a warm, encouraging working atmosphere. Tasks include sak-aika planning, ensuring sufficient time for preparing vasut (educational materials), discussions, and documentation; strong support in child welfare arrangements with multidisciplinary specialists; stable substitute arrangements; and practical support from facility cleaners or daycare assistants. We also provide digital support, mentoring, induction, and opportunities for training with employer support. The role requires qualification described in the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018), with consideration for transitional provisions; applicants in training are also considered. The probationary period is six months; a police background check and tuberculosis screening may be required. Salary and terms follow the Municipal Sector Collective Agreement (OVTES section G). The monthly base salary is 3095.51–3200.35 euros, with possible additional experience pay.
