Responsibilities

  • Take a leading role in planning and scheduling activities in complex projects and support project teams with schedule governance, analysis and decision making
  • Develop, maintain, and analyze integrated project schedules in close collaboration with project teams
  • Support predictable schedule forecasting by aligning time, cost, resources and progress
  • Identify schedule deviations, risks, and opportunities early, and communicate them clearly to project stakeholders
  • Prepare schedule reports and analyses, including S-curves, critical path analyses, resource histograms and On-Time-Delivery milestones
  • Actively communicate schedule information to stakeholders to keep everyone informed
  • Support and prepare What-if schedule scenarios, delay mitigation plans and Extension of Time claims with the project team
  • Promote planning and scheduling best practices across the organization, act as a role model and support less experienced planners
  • Drive the use and continuous improvement of planning and scheduling methodologies and tools
