Technical Specialist

Qualification requirements Education: Master’s degree in Naval Architecture Work experience: Minimum 5 years in the naval and/or marine business. Ideally, you will already be familiar with naval rules and regulations. However, solid experience in the marine industry can also provide a strong foundation for quickly understanding and adopting naval requirements. Previous experience with a classification society is considered an advantage. To succeed in this role, it would be ideal for you to have: Previous experience in ship design and construction Previous experience in large marine/naval projects Broad knowledge of marine/naval industry and ship systems Good understanding of Rules & Regulations in shipbuilding Experience and interest in naval and defence projects and requirements Good communication and presentation skills Problem solving skills and attitude Capability to work as part of team and deliver under strict timelines Fluent English is mandatory for the position. Other language skills are beneficial. Our office is centrally located at the Shipyard in Hietalahti, Helsinki. Our multinational team support hybrid work arrangements while also working together at the office on a weekly basis. The position requires security clearance and may be limited to particular nationalities due to the end customer's requirements and legislation. Ready to make an impact?
