
Auditing Assistant
This role is a junior entry-level position in Deloitte's Audit & Assurance practice based in Kalmar, Sweden. The successful candidate will work alongside both junior and senior colleagues supporting continuous growth. The job involves reviewing internal controls, analyzing financial reports and sustainability reports, and interacting with clients in a consultative manner. The position offers international exposure with opportunities to work abroad and influence development from the start. You will collaborate with senior staff to understand clients’ business processes, accounting issues, and the nuances of financial reporting. You will utilize various data analytics, AI, and automation tools, and contribute to the reliability of financial and sustainability reporting through close partnership with the client and audit team. Qualifications include being a newly graduated economist who is a team player but capable of working independently; you should be structured, outward-looking, curious and eager for new challenges. Excellent Swedish and English skills (spoken and written) are expected, plus interest in developing business activities. Relevant work experience in economics, banking, or client contact is beneficial; IT-related study and strong Excel skills are advantageous. Responsibilities
- Review internal controls and various items in income statements and balance sheets to help clients develop their processes, documentation, and control environment
- Work with a variety of tools for data analytics, AI, and automation
- Collaborate with clients and the audit team to increase reliability of financial and sustainability reports

Requirements
- Newly graduated economist
- Team player who can work independently

- Good academic results and engagement outside of studies
- Excellent Swedish and English in speaking and writing
- Interest in developing business and operations
- Relevant work experience in economics, banking or client contact is a plus
- Studies in IT-related subjects and very good Excel skills are advantageous
