Product Development Engineer

Raikka Oy is a Finnish company manufacturing machined parts and defense equipment. The headquarters are in Espoo and production facilities in Eurajoki. The company operates in two business units: machining and munitions factory. You will join Eurajoki-based permanent position as Product Development Engineer, strengthening the existing product development team with your mechanical and mechatronic expertise. You will be responsible with the team for product development, management, documentation and implementation of projects you lead, and ensure systems operate under all conditions. Work will involve close cooperation with stakeholders who define requirements for product development. Requirements include engineering or DI-level degree and experience in mechanical/mechatronic design and safety-critical systems, English proficiency, SolidWorks, and documentation skills. Desirable are electronics design experience, prior government/cooperation with authorities, organizational and teamwork skills, independent and responsible work style, good stress tolerance, and ability to manage multiple projects.
