Early Childhood Education Teacher

A temporary teaching position in early childhood education at Illenpiha unit, Vantaa. The role focuses on creating a sensitive and safe daily life for children where the child is at the center of activity. The successful candidate will work in a two-teacher group with one child care assistant, with potential for the position to become permanent. The unit is part of the Illenpihan early childhood unit alongside Illenpuisto, located in Kartanonkylä area with good transport connections. The team values creativity, experimentation, and a supportive, positive work culture. You will adhere to the ProVaka method to support social skills in children. We require strong written and spoken Finnish. Prior experience as an early childhood teacher is preferred. The position is a fixed-term contract governed by the Municipal teaching staff collective agreement (OVTES). Salary: 3129.46–3234.53 EUR/month, with additional allowances for qualifications (15 EUR/month for a qualified early childhood teacher, 37.88 EUR/month for a master’s degree) and a 3–8% experience-based supplement.
