Social Worker

We are seeking a licensed social worker for a temporary position in adult social work at the Seinäjoki unit of Etelä-Pohjanmaan hyvinvointialue. The role involves broad social welfare duties with clients requiring special support, including assessment of needs under social welfare legislation, planned social work, processing of discretionary livelihood support, and guidance and counseling tasks. The candidate should be client-oriented and able to collaborate; the position emphasizes managing challenging life situations, networked work, and goal-oriented practices. Experience in social work, flexibility, and strong collaboration skills are valued, as are good IT skills, especially proficiency with the customer information system (LC). The Seinäjoki unit offers a great work community and welcomes both newcomers and experienced social workers. Weekly team meetings, regular supervision, and strong adult social work expertise support the role. There is also the possibility of regular remote work. The job is field-based expert work requiring travel across the area (Seinäjoki-Isokyrö) and thus a driver’s license and access to a car. The qualification required is the professional qualification of a licensed social worker (Laki sosiaalihuollon ammattihenkilöistä 817/2015 7 §). The terms of service and pay are determined by the SOTE agreement. Salary is 4318.86 €/month. A probationary period applies. HYVAEP is a non-smoking workplace.
