Ohjaaja (amk)

As an AMK instructor at Lankilan daytime activity, you will work with daily involvement of 40-60 developmentally disabled clients, supporting their independence, daily life and well-being. You are responsible for supporting clients’ functioning, participation and goal‑oriented daily life. Your duties include ensuring quality and up-to-date documentation and participating in development of the activities. You will ensure that everyday structures run smoothly and safely. You work closely with the work community and support colleagues in daily tasks. We expect good interaction and cooperation skills and the ability to operate in a multidisciplinary environment. It is important to continuously develop your own and the work community’s operations. Eligibility requires an AMK degree in social and health care (Valvira). The position requires vaccination protection under Infectious Diseases Act §48 and TB screening under §55. The successful applicant must present a criminal record extract for working with the elderly and disabled before starting employment. A drug test may be requested randomly as part of the Länsi-Uudenmaa wellbeing region’s drug program. Adequate Finnish language written and spoken skills are required.
