Practical Nurse

Mehiläinen is seeking engaged practical nurses for gig work in Päijät-Häme, within the Mehiläinen home-delivered disability services. What we expect from you: a practical nurse qualification in social and health care, a valid SOTE professional card, willingness to commit to high-quality nursing, good interpersonal and teamwork skills and a proactive work attitude. Valid LOVe permits (these can be completed through us). Proficient IT skills and good Finnish language proficiency. Ability to work independently and meet a variety of clients. Note that student applicants cannot be considered. Owning a car is an advantage. Requirements include: Public sector registry (Valvira) registration, vaccination protection under Infectious Diseases Act sections 48 and TB screening under section 55 for those meeting THL risk criteria. We will check criminal records for work with disabled persons and children. We offer meaningful work in clients’ homes within a tight care circle, a thorough orientation, flexible hours with three-shift work and six-week rosters designed to respect your preferences, and pay under the private social service sector collective agreement (G22) with hourly wage starting from 15.50–17.55 €/h as of 1.9.2024.
