Record to Report Senior Accounting Specialist (JE&Reporting)(m/f/d) Hybrid |This is a permanent role with weekly visits to the office | Kraków We’re looking for Record to Report Senior Accounting Specialist for Amer Sports’ office in Kraków. If you’re looking for an environment where you can make an impact and grow your career, we invite you to explore the opportunity below.What you will be doingFinancial Reporting: Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance for all legal entities in scope.General Ledger Management: Monitor and review general ledger accounts to guarantee the accuracy of financial information during period-end closings.Operational Tasks: Independently handle daily, monthly, and ad-hoc tasks within the team’s scope, including performing closing activities as per the group schedule.Audit Assistance: Collaborate with auditors during interim and year-end audits, providing necessary data and resolving queries.Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison with customer service, sales teams, and Financial Controllers to address and resolve issues.Process Documentation & Compliance: Maintain and update process documentation (e.g., DTPs, Process Maps) while ensuring adherence to internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to standardize and enhance processes, contributing to global initiatives.Team Support: Provide guidance to less experienced team members and support your team lead in achieving operational goals.What you need to succeed Experience:At least 6 years of professional experience in accounting, with 4+ years in general ledger accounting.Practical knowledge of accounting or audit processes.Experience working with SAP Finance and reconciliation tools like Blackline. Skills:Strong proficiency in MS Excel.Excellent task and time management abilities.Analytical mindset with exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail, accuracy, and a proactive approach to work.Teamwork and collaboration skills, with a positive attitude.Ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize effectively. Languages:Very good written and spoken English.
