Project Planner

We are seeking a project planner to provide comprehensive coordination for the OmaStadi mobility projects at the City of Helsinki, Culture and Leisure Department. The role involves coordinating OmaStadi projects, advancing plans to decision-making, and planning communications and resident engagement in collaboration with the Culture and Leisure communications and marketing services. You will manage timelines, stakeholder cooperation, and the content and quality of projects, and contribute to developing OmaStadi in line with the city’s strategy for sport and physical activity services. The position involves collaboration with the City Environment and Infrastructure sector in OmaStadi matters, representing Mobility Services in implementation planning. We value a natural approach to working with stakeholders, leveraging strengths in interactions, and showing initiative. A higher university degree is required, supplemented by strong knowledge of construction economy; alternatively an AMK degree with substantial related work experience. Suitable degrees include Urban Construction Engineering (AMK, YAMK, DI) or Civil Engineering (AMK, YAMK, DI). Proficiency in Finnish is required. Experience in urban construction, design and project management is beneficial.
