Early childhood special education teacher

Kukola-Moikoisten päiväkoti seeks a permanent Early Childhood Special Education Teacher starting 1 October 2026. The daycare is located on Hirvensalo island. Our preschooling cooperates with Wäinö Aaltosen School’s early years and this is mainly your work location. Route lines 5 and 5A bring you close to the daycare. As an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher you are part of the daycare leadership team together with another Early Childhood Special Education Teacher, the daycare principal and the deputy principal. We have dedicated teams working together to implement the children’s support; you will receive a named mentor from another daycare unit who will coach you, and you will have your own laptop and phone. We expect an enthusiastic and open-minded approach, commitment, and diverse pedagogical expertise with good teamwork with children and families. Eligibility is defined by the Varhaiskasvatuslaki §30: (1) qualification as a preschool teacher plus the studies enabling special education tasks, or (2) Master of Education with special pedagogy as major.
