Do you want to lead an operation that enables smooth patient care and the success of daily hospital routines every day? We are looking for a line manager for instrument care and care logistics services for a permanent official position in the Kanta-Häme wellbeing services county. In this position, you will be responsible for the personnel management of approximately 20 instrument care technicians and 12 care logisticians, as well as the development of operations. Instrument care technicians work at the Riihimäki and Forssa sites, and care logisticians at the ASSI hospital in Hämeenlinna. As a line manager, you will supervise staff working across several locations, so the role requires an active presence at different sites and a mobile approach to work. As a line manager, you are responsible for the management of personnel, operations, and finances, as well as ensuring the quality, effectiveness, and development of services within your area of responsibility. You lead daily operations in a goal-oriented and participatory manner and ensure that instrument care and care logistics services meet the changing needs of the organization and customers. Your responsibilities include personnel administration, recruitment, shift and vacation planning, competence management, as well as the planning, monitoring, and evaluation of operations and finances. You will develop operational processes in cooperation with the instrument care manager, logistics manager, staff, and other partners. As a line manager, you play a key role in implementing the wellbeing services county's strategic goals into practical operations. You ensure that common goals are reflected in daily work, the development of staff competence, service quality, and the continuous improvement of operating methods. The position emphasizes the ability to lead changes, build cooperation across operational boundaries, and inspire staff to achieve common goals. In the instrument care organization, you will be supported by a service coordinator and two fellow line managers. The eligibility requirement for the position is a suitable university degree or a previous college-level degree. Additionally, we require experience in supervisory or management positions and knowledge of hospital environments and healthcare operational processes. We value knowledge of instrument care, surgical operations, or logistics services, as well as experience in operational and financial management. Success in the position requires the ability to grasp broad entities, lead work communities operating in several locations, and develop services strategically and persistently. The position-specific salary is €3,803.22/month. In addition to the position-specific salary, we pay an experience-based supplement ranging from 0% to 8%. The accumulation of vacation days is determined based on length of service. A suitability assessment may be used to support the selection. Applications must be received by the end of the application period and must be submitted via the Kuntarekry system. The selected person must present an approved health certificate by the deadline. Remuneration and other terms of employment are determined according to the SOTE agreement. The probationary period is six months. Immediate patient and customer work requires vaccination protection as required by Section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act and a respiratory tuberculosis clearance according to Section 55.
