Senior Indirect Tax Analyst - Shopify - Remote - Global

Shopify is looking for a Senior Tax Analyst to join its Indirect Tax Team. The role will support indirect tax compliance, research, planning, audits and controversy, including building new Indirect Tax tools and processes and with AI. The position will report to the Lead of Indirect Tax in the US and will provide support to the whole Indirect Tax Team. Responsibilities include managing US indirect tax compliance and audits, assisting with tax planning, automation, and international compliance, handling reconciliations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of indirect tax experience, familiarity with US sales tax, and proficiency with ERPs and tax engines. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential. Fluency in English is required, other languages are advantageous.
