About the role

Savonlinna region's employment area develops regional employment, ensures access to skilled labor, and facilitates matching jobseekers with employers. The multidisciplinary support service area combines labor market services with social, health and rehabilitation services to provide comprehensive support for employment. We are seeking a Service Manager for multidisciplinary services to lead operational management and development of the service area within the employment region, playing a central role in implementing the multidisciplinary service package. Housing and integration services are part of the multidisciplinary service area. As Service Manager you will be responsible for the smooth operation, quality and development of the multidisciplinary support services in collaboration with the Director of Employment Services. You will lead the teams within the service area, develop customer processes and ensure services are effective and well coordinated. Key tasks include leading service-area teams and personnel management; developing customer processes and multidisciplinary service models; coordinating stakeholder cooperation (e.g., welfare region, Kela, municipalities, service providers, educational institutions, associations); coordinating and integrating services across networks; planning and monitoring service-area goals, quality and resources; executing laws and guidelines and directing staff; coordinating and leading the multidisciplinary employment-support collaboration model (TYM); developing the Ohjaamo joint service for youth employment; organizing service network logistics and communications. Requirements include 3–5 years of experience in public administration or multidisciplinary services and a suitable professional qualification, plus at least 2 years of supervisory experience. Favorable: development orientation, ability to understand whole entities, independent decision-making, strong collaboration and communication skills, experience with network cooperation and multidisciplinary customer processes, knowledge of the labor market and service networks, and understanding of how service offerings affect municipal finances; a suitable higher education degree.
