We are looking for a nurse for the Psychiatry Consultation Outpatient at Haartman Hospital. The unit is part of HUS Psychiatry's Mood Disorders and General Psychiatry line. The nursing position is permanent and will become free on 28 September 2026 or by agreement. In the emergency department, we provide around-the-clock assessment and continuation of care for Helsinki residents over 16, and we also coordinate night-time care for patients in HUS Psychiatry wards. The nurse's duties include assessment of care needs and independent nursing consulting. We expect excellent communication and teamwork skills and a commitment to developing acute psychiatric nursing in emergency settings. The unit has a good working atmosphere, high-quality orientation program and skilled multidisciplinary teams. We offer good training and development opportunities and benefits provided by the HUS group. We implement nursing work according to the magnet hospital model. The Mood Disorders and General Psychiatry line handles referrals from adult patients, initial psychiatric situation assessment and guidance to appropriate care locations, and treats patients with specialized needs.
