We are hiring staff for a new foster care unit in Pietarsaari. Are you a professional with a social work degree from a polytechnic who wants to help build a new foster care unit from the ground up? We are seeking motivated and committed employees for a permanent position. In your role you will support the everyday life of children and youths and participate in building a safe, rehabilitative and homely growth environment. The work is three-shift. We expect from you a degree in social work, good proficiency in Finnish and Swedish, the ability to engage with children, youths and families respectfully and professionally, strong interaction and cooperation skills, an independent work approach and willingness to work as part of a multi-professional team, flexibility and commitment to child protection work, a B-class driving license. Beneficial are a hygienic passport, first aid competence, and knowledge of NEPSY and addiction care.
