We are hiring staff for a new child protection foster care unit in Pietarsaari. Are you a professional with a degree in social work who wants to help build the operations of a new foster care unit from the ground up? We seek motivated and committed employees for a permanent position. In your work you will support the everyday life of children and youth and participate in creating a safe, rehabilitative and home-like growth environment. The work is three-shift. We hope you have a degree in social work, good Finnish and Swedish language skills, the ability to meet children, youth and their families with appreciation and professionalism, good interaction and collaboration skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a multi-professional team, flexibility and commitment to child protection work, and a B-class driving license. Advantageous are hygienic certificate, current first aid, nepsy and substance abuse knowledge.
