Senior GCP Ops Engineer\n\nJob Type\nContract — 12 months\n\nSalary\n€230 per day\n\nJob Location\nSofia, Bulgaria — Hybrid, 2 days per week onsite\n\nThe Company\nSignify Technology are working with a leading global professional services and consultancy firm with a well-established presence across Europe. They support a large international client base and run enterprise cloud platforms spanning native and hybrid environments. This role sits within their cloud operations team, who are looking for someone to help build, secure, and run customer environments end to end.\n\nThe Role\nSenior GCP Ops Engineer\nYou'll design, build, secure, and manage cloud native and hybrid platforms on GCP, deploying customer environments and providing cloud advisory input while keeping solutions aligned to enterprise security and data standards.\n\nYou will:\nTake deep technical ownership of GCP environments, covering both project and operational work\nDesign and build containerised solutions\nManage identity, networking, backup, and configuration across the platform\nDeploy customer environments and advise on cloud architecture decisions\n\nSkills/Experience Required\nDeep technical experience with GCP, in either a project or operational capacity\nExperience designing, building, and managing containerised solutions\nExperience with identity management, networking, backup, and configuration management\nStrong communication skills and fluent English\n\nDesirable Skills\nKnowledge of Azure\nExperience writing automation scripts for GCP, DevOps, and CI/CD\nExperience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)\nKnowledge of ITIL or Agile methodologies\n\nClient Benefits\n12-month contract with a well-established global organisation\nHybrid working — 2 days onsite in Sofia\n\nSign off\nIf this sounds like a good fit, reply with your updated CV, availability, and rate expectations and we'll be in touch.
