Work Ability Coach

We are seeking two work ability coaches for permanent positions starting 1 January 2027 in Hämeenlinna city’s employment services. The coaches know labor markets and recruiters’ processes, approach unemployment challenges with creativity and solutions, and work with job seekers to build individualized employment solutions considering the client’s capacity, skills and strengths. The work emphasizes shaping jobs and close cooperation with employers to find new opportunities. They strengthen the team’s success and impact with their own expertise. The role blends creativity with goal orientation: develop new ways to meet employers and job seekers and enable successful recruitment and sustainable employment. Key duties include supporting job-seeker clients over 30 in employment and placements, coordinating services with a goal-oriented, in-person approach, assessing skills and strengths, tailoring services for rapid employment, handling unemployment security matters and opinions, and collaborating with Central Häme welfare region and Kela through broad network cooperation. Requirements include bold, solution-oriented and motivating approach to people and employers; understanding of work capacity across dimensions; strong customer service, networking and interpersonal skills; excellent Finnish writing and speaking; solid digital skills and openness to AI tools; mobility across TyöHäme region.
