ABOUT THE ROLE As Credit Risk Manager you assess credit risk of US and SME/corporate clients, contribute to standards and tech stack improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. WHAT YOU’LL DO Due diligence, underwriting, credit decisioning, innovation, and communication to foster a culture of open dialogue and high-quality results. WHAT YOU’LL BRING Minimum 4 years in credit risk for US corporate/SME clients, strong accounting knowledge, CFA a plus, English fluency. Responsibilities
- Due diligence: assess customer profiles and business model.
- Underwriting: analyze financial information and determine risks.
- Credit decision: approve limit requests within delegated authority.
- Innovation: design scalable, compliant processes and leverage AI capabilities.
- Communication: facilitate information flow across teams.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of operational experience in credit risk assessment for US corporate or SME customers from a bank or fintech.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and industry-specific financial analysis. CFA or similar qualifications are a strong plus.
- Analytical thinking, detail orientation and ability to quickly understand new problems and systems and work out solutions.
- Experience with tools used for loan processing, credit decisioning, and BI, open banking or accounting.
- Project management skills and demonstrated ability to design and steer complex projects end to end.
- Team-oriented and resilient under pressure.
- Fluent English with very good writing skills. Other European languages are a plus.
