Legal Coordinator

About the role

Nordnet started 30 years ago with the aim of democratizing savings and investments. We have grown into the leading digital platform for saving and investing in the Nordic region. In this role, two law students are sought for Nordnet as Legal Coordinator starting after agreement. You will join a young team with a good mood consisting of lawyers and other law students. We offer an exciting job in modern premises at our Havneholmen office in Copenhagen. Job and duties: The role offers an interesting opportunity for someone with an interest in analysis and problem solving to develop these skills in a professional environment where saving and investments are in focus. Your primary tasks include handling, investigating and providing written responses to formal complaints and compensation claims from customers. A central part of the work is independently conducting investigations, drawing your own legal conclusions and conveying them in clear and precise language. The work requires you to independently examine and analyze the situation and relevant contract terms to present well-considered and well-written solutions in writing. The role includes daily contact and close collaboration with other departments at Nordnet and regular discussions and sparring in the team. Through the investigative work you will gain good insight into how a bank and various financial instruments function. Profile: You are straightforward and enjoy working with others. You thrive in a somewhat fast pace and have the ability to handle several cases at once. The role requires that you can work independently, have a solution-oriented approach and take responsibility. In addition, you are analytical and thorough in your work, which is characterized by high integrity. Since the work largely concerns written case processing, it is crucial that you enjoy writing, working with text and conveying complex legal issues in an easily understandable way. Weights and requirements: You have completed at least two semesters of the law program. You are a strong communicator in writing and speaking Danish and English, and you enjoy writing and editing text as a central part of your workday. You can work 15 hours per week, distributed over two days. The working hours are flexible and easy to adapt to your studies. As a Nordic bank we value knowledge of Swedish, Norwegian and/or Finnish, although these language skills are not a requirement for the role. It is also a plus if you have knowledge of German. We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in service and a strong drive to always find the optimal solutions for our customers. A background in or interest in the financial sector is an advantage. What we offer: You will have the opportunity to work in a Nordic environment where we build the best platform for saving and investing. Our ambitions are high, and you will join an exciting and challenging journey with a fantastic team of sharp and engaged colleagues. We are about 1,000 employees distributed across Copenhagen, Stockholm, Oslo and Helsinki. Apply: The selection is ongoing, so please submit your application as soon as possible. The application should include a CV, transcript and a motivated application. If you want to know more about the position or have questions, you are welcome to contact Tuulia Parviala, Head of Legal Operations, by email: tuulia.parviala@nordnet.se. We only accept applications through our recruitment system. Nordnet conducts credit and background checks as part of the recruitment process.
