Procurement Specialist

Salon city’s financial services seek a procurement specialist for the period 17 September 2026 to 31 August 2027. The procurement specialist independently prepares procurement matters for the City of Salo, participates in the procurement process and develops procurement services, advises units in various stages of public procurement, prepares different stages of procurements in cooperation with city units, and contributes to the development of procurement at the city. A central part of the role is procurement planning, preparation of tender documents, review of tenders and preparation of officer decisions. Qualifications include experience in similar procurement tasks, good collaboration and interpersonal skills, teamwork, and strong Finnish language skills. We value meticulous and self-motivated work, organizational and stress-resilience in a dynamic environment. Knowledge of procurement law, Cloudia tendering system, and municipal administration is an advantage. Employment is with Salon city’s corporate services, finance services procurement unit.
