We are seeking fire and door watchers for Äänekoski area for temporary, on-call work. As a fire/door watcher your duties include monitoring restricted areas, ensuring safe operations during work, and preventing impending fires, especially during hot work and maintenance. Shifts are long, with work in one or two rotations. Requirements include prior industrial experience, a valid occupational safety card and hot-work permit, attention to detail, and fluent Finnish. Compensation is according to collective agreement or better; hourly wage ranges from €13 to €15 depending on skills and experience. Responsibilities
- Monitor movement in narrow enclosed spaces to ensure safe work
- Prevent and detect emerging fires, especially during hot work and maintenance
- Work long shifts in one or two rotations
