Are you energetic and positive with a knack for customer service, thriving in the food service sector? We are looking for a Catering Worker for a permanent role starting 1 October 2026, or by agreement. The position is part-time at 27.5 hours per week. The start location will be Wessman-talon kitchen, with possibility to work across Sipoo’s food services as needed. Tasks include making salads, heating meals, dishwashing and customer service. Our customers are primarily secondary school students. Sipoo is a fast-growing municipality near the Helsinki region, offering diverse duties within municipal food services. The unit prepares and distributes meals to schools, daycares and the municipal staff restaurant, aiming to provide high-quality meals to all customer groups. Food services are centralized to two preparation kitchens with 25 distribution kitchens. Qualifications: basic qualification in the restaurant and catering industry or other suitable education or experience in similar work, and a hygiene passport. Language requirement: sufficient Finnish and/or Swedish for customer service. A six-month probation applies. The full-time base pay (38.25 h/week) is €2399.26 per month plus possible supplements.
