Do you love creating energy and great member experiences where people and operations work together? As Assistant Club Manager, you will be a central part of the centre’s daily leadership and operations. Together with the Club Manager, you will ensure structure and a good flow in everyday work—from staffing and operations to sales and service—and a centre that always looks clean and welcoming. You are a visible, present leader on the floor, close to both members and employees. You lead by example, set the standard for good service and notice the small details that take the member experience from good to 5-star hospitality. When the Club Manager is not present, you take charge and make sure daily operations run smoothly. You are a natural problem-solver, enjoy a fast pace and keep people, members and operations in view. The role gives you the opportunity to share responsibility, develop your leadership skills and gain valuable experience in the daily management of a SATS centre, working closely with and receiving ongoing guidance from the Club Manager. Your responsibilities Exceptional member service: You are present in both the training area and reception and ensure that every member feels welcome and motivated during their visit. Support for daily operations: You assist the Club Manager with daily leadership and operations, help with administrative tasks and ensure the centre runs smoothly. Sales and development: You share responsibility for the centre’s results and actively contribute to sales, the member experience and development. A welcoming and clean centre: Together with the team, you spend time cleaning every day so the centre always meets SATS’ high standards. Whenever members train, they find a welcoming and clean environment. Practical information Working hours: The role requires flexibility because the centre is open from 05:00 to 23:00 every day of the week. Your regular schedule includes two evening shifts per week until 20:00, Monday to Thursday, as well as one opening shift, one closing shift and one weekend shift per month. The evening shifts fall during the centre’s peak hours, when there are the most members and activity is high. Your presence as a leader is especially important then—for the member experience, operations and team. The other shifts also keep you close to everyday work and employees across different shifts. In urgent situations, such as illness, you are also expected to be able to step in outside your normal working hours. Workplace: Your regular workplace is the centre, and this is an active, visible leadership role on the floor. You are present in daily operations and close to members and employees, so you will spend much of the working day standing and moving around. Administrative tasks are generally carried out at reception so you remain close to what is happening in the centre. Language: You must speak and write Danish. Who are you? You are outgoing, friendly and charismatic, with a natural ability to build strong relationships with members and colleagues. You take ownership of your area, act decisively and are motivated by achieving goals, while keeping a keen eye on structure and organisation in everyday work. You inspire and engage others with your energy and enjoyment of work, lead by example and actively contribute to the development of the centre. You enjoy responsibility, take initiative and are driven to achieve results while living our values: Members First, Accountable, Professional & Extraordinary. Why work at SATS? Make a difference: Help people live healthier and happier lives. Be part of a great culture: Work with fun, energetic colleagues who share your passion for fitness. Career opportunities: We hope the Assistant Club Manager role will be a step forward in your SATS career, not just your next job. We are looking for someone with ambition, a desire to develop and an interest in taking on more responsibility over time. You can develop your leadership skills and gain solid experience in the daily management of a centre. For some, the next natural step will be Club Manager; others may develop into different roles and directions at SATS. Enjoy our benefits: You get free access to train at our clubs across the Nordics and good discounts on the products and services we offer. Full-time position: The role is 37 hours per week, scheduled across the centre’s opening hours. The centre is open from 05:00 to 23:00 every day, including weekends and public holidays. Salary according to qualifications. Pension and healthcare scheme: We offer a good pension and healthcare scheme to employees aged 23 or over. The position may be filled before the application deadline, so send your application as soon as possible.
