MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER

Alaris COJOT Oy is a well‑established Finnish company that designs and develops wideband antennas and accessories for mobile tactical communications, electronic warfare, and spectrum monitoring applications. We are part of Alaris RF Technology Group with teams across Finland, South Africa, the USA, Germany, and the UK. As part of the Espoo-based engineering team, you will work closely with international R&D colleagues while being rooted in Espoo. We are looking for a passionate Mechanical Engineer to join our team on-site in Espoo. You will work with RF engineers and contribute to the full product lifecycle from early customer-phase through to production. The mechanical team is small (2–3 engineers), providing broad scope and visible ownership. Responsibilities include applying, adapting, and refining existing design modules, focusing on cost efficiency, manufacturability, maintainability, and environmental conditions, considering structural, aerodynamic, thermal, and moisture-management aspects, conducting analyses, building prototypes, performing tests, drafting product specifications, manuals, and assembly instructions. You may also design new structures from scratch when needed while balancing practical engineering with creative input. Requirements: strong background in development and manufacturing of mechanical products, machines, or structures; BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering with a few years of relevant experience; ability to work independently, maintain accuracy under pressure, and communicate in English. NATO citizenship is required and candidates must already be based in Finland with eligibility to work here; relocation support is not available.
