In this role you'll sit on Product Analytics and partner closely with our Client Group, turning messy, cross-system billing data into accurate, trustworthy answers that keep our client relationships running smoothly. Role Overview: As a Data Analyst supporting the Client Group, you'll own the data work behind accurate, reliable client billing. You'll reconcile billing data across internal systems, investigate discrepancies, and build checks and documentation that make billing accuracy repeatable. Over time, you will reduce client billing friction through process improvements, better data flows and automation. Responsibilities include reconciling data, building data-quality checks, partnering with the Client Group, developing reporting and dashboards, driving process improvements, collaborating with Product Analytics, Finance and Engineering, and operating in an agile framework. Must-Haves: 5+ years in analytics/data/finance-operations; Advanced Excel; SQL; experience reconciling data across systems; high attention to detail; ability to navigate imperfect data; clear communicator with stakeholders. Nice-to-Haves: healthcare data experience; BI tools Looker/Tableau; BigQuery/dbt; Python; data governance knowledge. Responsibilities
- Reconcile and validate client billing data across multiple internal systems, investigating and resolving discrepancies to ensure accuracy and integrity
- Build repeatable data-quality checks, reconciliations, and documentation that strengthen billing processes and controls
- Partner directly with the Client Group to support timely, accurate client billing and to answer their most pressing data questions
- Develop and maintain reporting, dashboards, and analyses that surface billing trends, risks, and anomalies
- Over time, drive down client billing friction through process improvement, better data flows, and automation
- Collaborate across Product Analytics, the Client Group, Finance, and Engineering to understand data sources and improve the systems that feed billing
- Operate within an agile framework, prioritizing effectively as needs and priorities shift
Requirements
- 5+ years in analytics, data, or finance-operations
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, large datasets)
- Strong SQL and relational database experience
- Experience reconciling data across systems
- High attention to detail
- Ability to navigate imperfect data
- Clear communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
