Skeleton's Information Technology department is looking for experienced Procurement Specialist (m/f/x) with the vision to match our ambition! Skeleton is scaling production of its ultracapacitors and SuperBattery cells in Leipzig. Your goal as Procurement Specialist is to ensure that the supply chain needs of Skeleton Technologies are met in a timely and cost-effective manner. The Procurement Specialist reviews costs, develops relationships with vendors and suppliers, and offers suggestions for where and how much material and supplies to buy. Responsibilities include planning, ordering, and coordinating raw materials, managing inventory, maintaining master data, generating purchase orders, scheduling supply and delivery, balancing inventory levels, managing issues, distributing forecasts, coordinating with departments, and enabling continuous improvements. Requirements include a degree or equivalent experience in automation, engineering, computer science or similar, understanding of direct material procurement, experience with MRP/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle or similar), knowledge of supplier qualification, familiarity with VMI, blanket orders, and consignment stock models, understanding of technical drawings, supply chain risk management, supplier relationship management, cross-functional collaboration, data analysis, and strong communication skills.
