Design the human-AI interaction experience for Spring Health's user-facing AI agents across web and mobile platforms. Own the intent architecture end-to-end (taxonomy, routing, and gap analysis) and drive release rigor for AI experiences, including versioning, staged rollouts, and regression testing. Write, test, and optimize system prompts and exceptional UX copy. You will craft language that makes users in moments of distress feel seen, heard, and important—motivating and uplifting them without ever being dismissive of their challenges. Partner deeply with Clinical and Product teams to ensure AI interactions drive clinically valid behavior change, focusing on internal motivation. Define conversational parameters and graceful error handling for edge cases, hallucinations, or ambiguous user intent. Collaborate with engineers to implement prompt versioning and evaluate conversational quality using testing frameworks. Design and prototype chat interfaces, considering latency, tool-calling UI, and user onboarding within our core design system. Act as a strategic design leader, regularly presenting conversational architecture, AI performance insights, and product vision to executives and extended leadership teams.
