Into is a specialist organization for outreach youth work and workshop activities that represents its 240 member workshops and organizations implementing outreach youth work across Finland, serving over 2,000 professionals in the field. We are seeking a capable and humane leader for the expert organization. As our operations director, you will lead the organization’s work and a skilled staff together with the board of directors; be responsible for the association’s finances and operating processes and sustainability; actively engage in networks and stakeholder groups; communicate and influence the direction of the association’s goals; and actively build the standing, conditions and impact of the association and its sector within the wider community. We expect from you a higher university degree, evidence of sustainable and impactful leadership, understanding of the structures of societal decision-making and preparation, a strong commitment to advancing the equal participation of vulnerable people, knowledge of public funding and multi-channel financing, proficiency in personnel matters and good governance, and strong collaboration and teamwork skills. Willingness to travel; fluent Finnish, plus good Swedish and English speaking and writing skills. This is a permanent position starting 1 November 2026 or by agreement. Salary ranges from 4500 to 5500 EUR per month depending on the candidate’s skills, experience and education.
