Entry-level Construction Worker

Entry-level construction worker wanted! Would you like to join everyday life on construction sites, learn new skills and gain valuable work experience? We are looking for energetic and motivated entry-level construction workers for various construction projects at sites in the Jyväskylä region. The position is suitable for you if you are at the beginning of your construction career but have already gained some experience from construction sites, construction studies or your own projects. We appreciate an initiative-taking approach, a desire to learn new things and the ability to work as part of a team. What does construction support work involve? As an entry-level construction worker, you will get to know the varied tasks at a construction site and see the different stages of construction up close. Your duties may include, for example: • Keeping the site tidy and carrying out various clearing tasks • Carrying and transporting materials • Assisting with demolition work and sorting construction waste • Working alongside more experienced construction professionals • Other support tasks at the site according to your skills The job description varies according to the needs of the site and your own skills. At the same time, you will gain valuable experience for future construction work. What do we hope for from you? You may be the right person for the role if: • You are at least 18 years old • You have a valid Occupational Safety Card, or are willing to obtain one • You have good basic physical fitness • You communicate fluently in Finnish • You approach tasks energetically and handle agreed duties responsibly • You enjoy both independent work and working as part of a team Previous experience in construction is an advantage but not essential. A positive attitude, willingness to learn and diligence go a long way. What do we offer?
