Winter Snow Removal Worker

Two people are wanted for snow-removal work in Seinäjoki on an on-call, zero-hours contract for the winter season. Machine operator: the position requires experience using work machines and the ability to operate them. Manual snow-removal worker: duties include clearing snow by hand and other snow work. A valid driving licence is required for both positions. Work is offered according to need and weather conditions. Team duties: - Clearing agreed outdoor areas and access routes - Manual snow-removal work as needed - Anti-slip work - Mechanical snow removal - Operating a snowplough In your application, you can say whether you are interested in manual snow work or the machine-operator position. Work takes place in Seinäjoki and nearby areas. Sites include the yards of housing companies and business premises, as well as sections of streets. The work is on-call: work is done whenever it has snowed, on weekdays, evenings, nights and weekends, depending on snow conditions. Reasonably good physical fitness is needed for shovelling. We hope applicants have an energetic and diligent attitude to work. Some duties are performed using vehicles, so a driving licence is mandatory.
