About the role
Lead Software Engineer for the Merchandising team. You own a product end to end: how it’s built, how it runs in production, and how it evolves based on what customers actually need. You will raise the bar through code reviews, design feedback, and hands-on mentorship. You’ll work with AI fluently and review AI-generated code as critically as you would a teammate’s. You’ll build, ship and maintain production-quality code across the full stack, and work directly with customers to gather structured feedback and validate that what you build solves the business problem.

Requirements
- A track record of owning a product or service end to end at senior level or above, including the product decisions and not only the technical ones
- Full-stack proficiency across backend, frontend and data layers, with real depth in at least one
- Experience mentoring or technically leading other engineers, formally or informally
- Distributed systems experience: you have designed for failure and scale, and run what you built in production
- Fluent in written and spoken English
