Lead Developer Helsinki Hybrid | Full time. Our award-winning tech community is looking for lead developers to join us in Helsinki. As a lead developer, your job is to work with the full software development lifecycle, help your team succeed, and deliver results. Daily tasks include being the first point of contact for the client when it comes to technical questions or the quality of the delivery, facilitating collaboration between different stakeholders to ensure quality delivery, implementing new features that require changes to front-end applications, back-end servers, and/or databases, knowing what is needed from infrastructure to support the team's work, improving the team's ways of working by empowering them to discover optimal workflows and enabling a healthy work-life balance among team members, building relationships with the client to ensure future collaboration, assisting the team in adopting and following agile practices. You are an experienced developer who enjoys facing technical challenges and is at home providing clarity in ambiguous situations. To thrive, you’ll need 8+ years of relevant work experience, agile project management principles, team-lead and consulting experience, multi-stakeholder experience, server-side language proficiency (TypeScript/JavaScript/Node.js common; Java/Scala/Kotlin/Python/Clojure also used), client-side language and framework knowledge (TypeScript/JavaScript/React; mobile stacks), backend services and CI/CD knowledge, PostgreSQL, fluent English, willingness to work in a hybrid setup.
