We are looking for an experienced grocery professional who takes initiative, understands the store as a whole, and ensures quality execution from start to finish. In this role you will primarily work the opening shift and are responsible for the operation of the HeVi and bread departments and for the smooth daily running of the entire store. You will also lead and support other staff during the shift and ensure tasks are completed. Responsibilities include: HeVi and bread department duties including daily operations, quality, appearance, ordering, assortment, shelf availability and displays, monitoring quality and shrinkage, and responding to deviations; ensuring departments are attractive, abundant and sale-ready; developing department operations and sales. Opening shift and store operations: you work mainly the opening shift; you will ensure the store is ready to receive customers and that the day’s work starts as planned; assess daily workload, identify tasks and prioritize; take responsibility for store operations, shelf availability, store condition and customer service; guide and support other staff during the shift and ensure agreed tasks are completed. Customer service and sales: interact with customers in a service-oriented and solution-focused manner; ensure customer service is smooth and positive in all situations; be prepared to work in all store tasks and demonstrate by example. Attitude: take responsibility for your work and shared goals; work proactively and take on tasks without prompting; understand the store as a whole and make independent decisions; organize and prioritize; lead by example and guide others constructively; respond quickly to changing situations; maintain good service attitude in rush; behave reliably and precisely and work collaboratively; good physical condition and ability to work in a fast-paced environment; speak Finnish and be at least 18 years old; prior experience in grocery trade is a plus; experience in leadership or K-Group systems is advantageous. Working hours favor morning shifts, with flexibility to work across all store hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
