Essential Responsibilities: Report solid line to the General Manager, Design Engineering. Provide program leadership for a diverse team being accountable for on-time and on-budget delivery of design product programs. Establish and manage the technical interface between all internal and external parties involved in the program. Establish and maintain strong working relationship with other internal engineering team managers, business leaders, and other stakeholders. Interface with external partners, customers, and other applicable country specific regulatory agencies, as required on technical issues. Work with functional engineering teams to build estimates, schedules, manage change orders and responses to corrective actions. Coordinate engineering interfaces and drive timely resolution of technical issues with multiple engineering disciplines, business product management, partners, subcontractors, and customers. Report on program progress, performance, and manpower utilization with particular attention to delays, adverse trends, errors and omissions. Work hand-in-hand with Product and/or Projects, Finance and Operations to actively manage budgetary risks and opportunities through the year. Support the development of the business vision/strategy for new plant initiatives and strategic programs. Partner with business teams and present product/program strategies, technical roadmaps, risks, and recommendations to senior leaders across GVH. Provide guidance to leadership on management of external resources to ensure the quality of deliverables, enable flexibility and improved cost positions. Protect the Intellectual Property rights of GVH. Ensure adherence to GVH’s standards for nuclear safety and compliance.

Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or related science or technical discipline
- At least 8 years of progressive experience in engineering design and/or project leadership experience
- At least 6 years of experience in the nuclear industry or equivalent large scale new build experience in the power industry
