Responsibilities
- Designing and evolving underlay architecture for new and existing network services.
- Translating service requirements into scalable architectures, service models, configuration templates and APIs.
- Building automation and OSS integrations using technologies such as Python, Ansible, YANG/NETCONF, gNMI and REST.
- Running lab validation and pilots, followed by post-launch tuning and service lifecycle work.
- Working across Product, OSS/BSS, NOC, Security and suppliers to establish service KPIs, acceptance criteria and smooth operational handovers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in carrier or large-enterprise networking, including practical underlay work supporting telecom services.
- Deep technical knowledge of BGP, MPLS L3VPN/L2VPN, EVPN, Segment Routing and OSPF/IS-IS, plus experience with multi-tenant services, wholesale interconnects or peering.
- Experience with OSS/BSS, orchestration platforms or service controllers using REST APIs and YANG/NETCONF.
- Experience with vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Nokia or Arista.
- Fluent in English; fluency in a Scandinavian language is a plus.
