Sipoo is a bilingual municipality with 23,000 inhabitants, where nature, archipelago and countryside are key factors. Sipoo municipality's Food Services prepare and distribute meals to schools, day-care centres, and the municipal staff restaurant, aiming to provide high-quality meal services for all customer groups. Food Services are functionally centralized into two production kitchens and 25 heating and distribution kitchens. We are seeking a Production Manager for a permanent position. The role includes being the main user of the PowerRest production management system and responsibility for system onboarding within the organisation, production planning, and menu planning for different age groups, and product development with other parts of the organisation. Collaboration with suppliers, maintaining contract offerings in the production management system, and cooperation with the system supplier. Responsibility for updating self-control plans and training staff and service producers in self-control. Lead for opening and closing projects of sites. The Production Manager may temporarily cover the Food Service Manager and, for short periods, the nutrition supervisor. Requirements: a suitable university degree (e.g. Restonomi), hygiene certificate, excellent written and spoken skills in one official language and at least satisfactory in the other. Strong experience with the production management system and large-scale kitchen operations; Cook&Chill knowledge is a plus. We value flexibility, positivity and willingness to develop operations.
