We are seeking a skilled cook for the winter season at Myllyn Äijä, Levi. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a kitchen, keep up with busy periods, and approach tasks with initiative. If you are familiar with a kitchen environment and know what good restaurant cuisine requires, read on. In Myllyn Äijä’s kitchen daily work goes beyond chopping and frying — there is always more to do and situations change quickly. We are looking for a professional, proactive cook with a good attitude to join our team. In this role you will: prepare restaurant dishes with quality and efficiency; take care of kitchen preparation and smooth operations; work as part of a skilled kitchen team; maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen; participate in other daily kitchen duties; and so on. We expect you to have cook training and/or previous experience in similar roles; be independent and able to work quickly; be able to work under pressure; have teamwork and a positive mindset; and be prepared to work in varying situations. We offer a fixed-term position for the upcoming winter season, varied duties in the restaurant kitchen, the opportunity to work as part of a functioning team, and days full of meaningful tasks and a positive work ethic.
