Early Childhood Education Teacher

We are seeking a permanent Early Childhood Education Teacher for Maitorpan day care in Vantaa, starting 1 September 2026 or by agreement. The day care consists of four groups and is located in Maitorpan housing area. We actively use nearby playgrounds and regularly go on forest trips. The facilities support strong small-group activities in line with the early education curriculum. We participate in the ProVaka operating model, in which adults act as role models and the model supports inclusive, social-skill oriented guidance. In our unit, two broad-scope special education teachers assist and support you especially in child support matters, and work in groups according to their own schedule. Our unit’s development specialist supports collaboration with families. Your colleagues will support you; together we are stronger. For the Early Childhood Education Teacher, one full sak-day is planned in the work schedule, and once a week all teachers have a common sak-time during the day.
