We are seeking a Swedish-speaking psychologist for a parental leave substitute at HUS Children’s Psychiatry in Helsinki. The Swedish speaking clinics operate at the Södrnästen site in a central location with excellent transport links. Staff have functional rooms and own offices. In the Swedish unit, two psychologists work as part of a multidisciplinary team. The team collaborates closely with other units in the region and psychologists are part of Finland’s largest community of specialists in child psychiatry. In the Swedish outpatient clinics, we assess and treat moderate to severe mental health disorders in children aged 0–12. The multidisciplinary clinic team belongs to the eastern region of child psychiatry but offers Swedish-language pediatric specialty care services centrally across the HUS area. For our patients we provide individual, family, and group treatments in which psychologists participate, and we offer training. The clinic’s patient work is led by a multidisciplinary leadership team and the structures are clear. The currently open parental leave substitute begins on 21 Oct 2026 or by agreement and ends on 31 May 2027. There are good opportunities for continuation after the substitution. We offer clinical work aligned with the psychologist’s interests and opportunities for development and project tasks. We support training and provide a good onboarding, supervision, and leadership support. Some work can be done remotely and we can negotiate flexible working hours. The position’s salary starts at 4350.31 €/month plus possible experience-related increases. Please contact us and we’ll tell you more.
