We are looking for a Training Manager for the Construction and IT unit within the Technical Responsibility Area at WinNova. The position is permanent and starts on September 15, 2026. The Training Manager's role is located within the Technical Responsibility Area, which organizes training in construction, electricity, information technology, cleaning and property services, energy and process industries, as well as machinery and production technology. The position focuses on the Construction and IT unit. The Training Manager is responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of training within their unit, as well as ensuring the achievement of qualitative and financial goals in accordance with the result and impact targets defined in the operational plan, in cooperation with the Education Director. The Training Manager is also responsible for compliance with official regulations related to teaching activities in their responsibility area. Key responsibilities of the Training Manager include: - Ensuring the implementation of degree-oriented education in accordance with the degree requirements and implementation plans - Planning, implementing, evaluating, and improving the unit's training, service, and work activities - Deciding on student admissions and the temporary suspension of student studies - Managing the unit's community student welfare - Serving as the unit's supervisor, handling tasks related to staff recruitment, employment matters, annual working time plans, competence development, and maintenance of work ability, in accordance with WinNova's general guidelines and in cooperation with the Education Director - Participating in the preparation of the unit's budget and operating cost-effectively - Ensuring the safety and health of the unit's employees at work in accordance with occupational safety regulations, in cooperation with the Education Director Requirements for the applicant: - Sufficient command of the Finnish education system, vocational education, and related legislation - Supervisory, interaction, and communication skills - Ability to manage network cooperation Eligibility requirements are determined according to the Decree on the Eligibility Requirements for Teaching Staff (1998/986). A suitable higher education degree is required. Previous experience in supervisory work and a degree in educational administration approved by the National Board of Education are considered an advantage. Field-specific teaching and staff are also located in Pori. Terms of employment follow the YTES collective agreement. The salary group for the position is Unpriced. The position includes a probationary period, which will be defined based on previous work experience. The maximum length of the probationary period is six months.
