Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking a full-time healthcare assistant for a permanent position at the elderly care unit Keinustooli in Nakkila. Keinustooli has 24 residents. Our operation is based on residents’ own resources and an individual, holistic approach to care up to the end of life. Our aim is to provide each resident with a life as they see it and to support everyday functioning and social relationships. As a healthcare assistant you will be responsible for basic care and medication administration, participate in meaningful daily activities, and, together with the resident and their relatives, prepare care and service plans and conduct RA I functional capacity assessments. The work is primarily three-shift. We require: a nurse assistant qualification or equivalent prior education; a valid professional competence (Valvira registration); fluent spoken and written Finnish; vaccination protection under the Infectious Diseases Act §48; hygienic passport; experience with elderly care is an advantage. A criminal record extract as per Act 741/2023 §28 may be requested. The terms of employment and salary are dictated by the SOTE collective agreement; the position salary is 2712.92 €/month.
