Workshop Team Leader

Team Leader Workshop Venlo at Scania Venlo is looking for an experienced truck technician ready to take the next step. You will combine technical knowledge with leadership to improve processes and guide a team on the shop floor. You’ll be the first point of contact for technicians, ensuring maintenance and repair work is carried out safely and to high standards. You’ll be visible on the shop floor, support technicians with technical questions, and help them develop. You’ll lead a team of mechanics, manage scheduling, and ensure smooth collaboration between workshop and reception. You’ll coach technicians, assist in complex diagnostics and repairs, monitor quality, safety and efficiency, identify improvement points, and ensure safety regulations (including electrical vehicles) are followed. You’ll participate in work meetings and assist with quotes for additional work. Requirements include at least mbo level, experience in commercial vehicle technology or workshop environments, strong communication, proactive coaching, experience with automated systems and administration, ability to work independently while connecting a team. Leadership experience is a plus but not required.
