The position is for an Early Childhood Education Teacher in Mäntsälä, working as part of a six-kindergarten unit led by a principal, in a roughly 800-child municipal early childhood setting. You will lead your team, plan pedagogical activities, and implement them together with skilled staff. We expect you to support children's participation and develop play for the child's best. Your work is grounded in a holistic understanding of a child's everyday life. You will be a warm, professional collaborator and a positive communicator with children, colleagues and guardians. The role includes contributing to the daily functioning of the kindergartens and taking part in collaborative development of activities. Salary and terms follow the municipal collective agreement. Starting 7 September 2026, with Hyökännummen kindergarten as the primary placement; new graduates are welcome. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Education including kindergarten teacher training, or an AMK degree in Social Services with relevant early childhood education and social pedagogy studies totaling 60 credits, or a Social Welfare Bachelor’s with the above studies. The position is permanent with a probationary period aligned to the agreement; the probation is six months, shorter for fixed-term positions. Applications by 31 August 2026 at 12:00.
