Folkhälsan is a health-promoting organization and a family-friendly workplace. We are recruiting a teacher in early childhood education for the Trollebo day care in Kerava for a permanent position. The job is full-time and starts in August 2026 or as agreed. We are looking for you who are a qualified teacher and want to work to create a safe and inspiring environment for children with development, learning and well-being in focus. Skills such as creativity, cooperativeness, flexibility, communication, and health-promoting practices are valued by us. We are a Swedish-speaking, diploma-qualified health-promoting day care that offers early childhood education and preschool teaching, with language- immersion activities for Finnish-speaking children from Kerava and nearby municipalities. Trollebo is a Green Flag certified day care where children regularly participate in forest-related activities. The daycare is located in the same building as Svenskbacka School, forming a Swedish-speaking community in a bilingual environment. You travel to Kerava by train; the train from Helsinki takes about 20 minutes. As a teacher in early childhood education, you are responsible for and plan the educational activities. The work takes place in a milieu with qualified educators and other experts. We operate according to the Foundations for Early Childhood Education and Folkhälsan’s handbook. We offer a workplace where you have the opportunity to influence and develop your work. Qualifications required are those of the law on early childhood education (540/2018) or the applicable transitional provision: pedagogy bachelor, suitable university of applied sciences degree or earlier equivalent degree at the institute level, e.g., kindergarten teacher or social pedagogue. Salary is in accordance with the collective agreement for private early childhood education.
